True North Dreamin’ Returns to Toronto in 2027
We’re excited to officially announce that True North Dreamin’ 2027 will take place on April 6–7, 2027, at the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel.
TND27 will be our third consecutive conference since reviving True North Dreamin’ and our fourth event overall. Attendance and community involvement have grown each year, and we’re looking forward to continuing that momentum in 2027.
Why Toronto Again?
We have never hidden the fact that we expected to remain in Toronto for 2027, but we also wanted to hear from our community exactly where in the Greater Toronto Area/Golden Horseshoe Area they would be willing to go before making the final decision.
Following TND26, we asked attendees where they would like to see the conference held and what mattered most when choosing a location. Remaining in the Toronto proper received strong support, particularly because of its accessibility for attendees travelling from across Ontario, Canada and beyond.
Hosting consecutive events in Toronto also gives us an opportunity to build on what we have already created, strengthen local and national connections, and give ourselves more time to carefully consider where True North Dreamin’ will go next in 2028. And rest assured, we will be reaching out to our community in the next few months to get their input for that as well.
Why are we returning to the Toronto Airport Marriott?
We reviewed several venue options, including downtown locations, before deciding to return to the Toronto Airport Marriott.
Cost and familiarity were certainly factors, but the conference experience was the most important consideration.
One of the things that worked especially well at TND26 was having the entire conference located on one floor. Sessions, sponsor tables, meals and gathering spaces were all close together, making it easier for attendees to move between activities and helping sponsors remain part of the overall event rather than being separated in another area.
The hotel also offers guest rooms, conference facilities, dining and airport access in one location. That helps create the connected, community-focused atmosphere we want for True North Dreamin’.

Our TND27 hotel room block is already open, with special rates available for the conference dates and up to three nights before and after the event, based on availability. But please note, these rates will only be held until March 11, 2027.
