Community, Content & Connection at TND26
Now that we’ve all had a chance to catch our breath (and catch up on some sleep 😄), we wanted to take a moment to reflect on True North Dreamin’ 2026.
First of all: thank you! Thank you for showing up. Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for sharing that these events matter.
To our attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and organizing team—thank you for helping make TND26 such a special couple of days in Toronto.
As a fully volunteer-run, community-driven event, hearing the feedback we’ve received over the past week has meant a great deal to all of us. One of the things we care most about with TND is creating an event that feels approachable, practical, welcoming, and genuinely community-focused, so it was incredibly rewarding to hear those themes reflected back in the post-event survey comments and conversations throughout the event.
We’re also already beginning to plan for TND27, including where we should meet next year within the GTA/Golden Horseshoe area. If you haven’t had a chance to weigh in yet, we’d love your feedback in our location survey found here.
One attendee shared the following reflection after the event, and honestly, it captured so much of what we hoped TND26 would be:
I attended True North Dreamin’ in Toronto for the first time this year—and it was absolutely worth it.
Going in, I expected something similar to a scaled-down Dreamforce or World Tour, but it’s completely different in the best way. The focus is on real education: practical sessions that dive into Salesforce tools, including honest discussions about both the pros and the cons (which you don’t always get at official events).
The sessions were well organized with content for all experience levels. The venue, food, and volunteer team were all excellent—any issues were handled quickly, and support was always available.
One of the biggest highlights was connecting with other Salesforce users. While waiting for the keynote, I ended up chatting with a few people about a challenge I’ve been facing. They shared some great ideas—and just as importantly, what not to try. 😄
I’ll definitely be back next year. If you’re a Salesforce admin—new or experienced—I highly recommend attending if it comes near you. It’s far more affordable than official Salesforce events, and after two days, I genuinely felt I got more than my money’s worth.
That reflection also lined up with many of the comments we received in our post-event survey.
Practical Learning & Real Conversations
One of the biggest goals for TND has always been to create practical, community-led learning experiences where people can openly share real-world experiences—not just polished success stories.
Some of the feedback that stood out included:
“Learning. Sharing tips and tricks.”
“It has user community with real experience not people trying to sell the service”
“Good content, well structured”
“Well run event and relevant content”
“The learning from the community members”
Community & Connection
One of the best parts of community events is often what happens between the sessions: the hallway conversations, networking, reconnecting with familiar faces, and meeting people who understand the same day-to-day challenges.
Some attendees shared:
“I like the individual conversations I have while there”
“Extremely helpful sessions and networking opportunities to learn, help others, and volunteer to support the event in any way.”
“Community & Content”
“Great event brilliant presentations loved networking”
“Informative and interesting sessions, community building and connections”
Atmosphere & Experience
We also heard a lot of feedback about the overall atmosphere of the event—from the venue setup to the more relaxed and conversational feel of the sessions and keynotes.
A few comments that made us smile:
“Venue and space-per-attendee was really good. Always had a selection of spaces to sit down, nothing was too formal.”
“Round-table keynotes are way more fun, we're all tired of auditoriums.”
“Great professional speakers, a wonderful Ohana community, and excellent event coordination.”
“Well run, great and varied topics, excellent speakers, local conference, fair price”
We’re also incredibly grateful to our sponsors, whose support helped make this volunteer-run community event possible. Their participation helps us keep TND accessible while continuing to grow and improve the experience this year.
And finally, thank you again to everyone who attended, spoke, volunteered, sponsored, supported, or simply helped spread the word.
TND has never just been about a two-day conference. It’s about continuing to build and support the Canadian Salesforce community year-round through conversations, user groups, shared learning, and connections.
We’re still processing everything from TND26, but we’re very grateful and excited about what comes next.
We hope to see many of you again throughout the year, and at TND27. 💙
